For both beginner and experienced meditat0rs.

Learn how to use meditation and other methods derived from Buddha’s teachings to solve day-to-day problems and find a deep happiness that you can share with others.

Each class includes meditation, a brief talk and time for question and answer.  Classes are self-contained, so drop in any time.

Our Wednesday evening introductory meditation class begins with a guided meditation, followed by a talk on a certain topic, and ends with another guided meditation. Class is followed by refreshments and time to chat with the teacher and other students.

Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary.

Children do art and other crafts while their parents enjoy a guided meditation and teaching in the next room.

Enjoy a morning together as a family in the sunny, peaceful space of our meditation center. For parents, this is a wonderful introductory class if you are new to meditation or Buddhist teachings. And it’s a playful, fun experience for kids!

Prayers for World Peace | Sun 10:30 am

 

PWP SunPrayers for World Peace, with meditation teachers Chris Taylor and Marlin Nissen

Sundays, 10:30 – 11:45am

Our Sunday drop-in meditation classes include guided meditations, a short prayer dedicated to world peace, and a teaching on a Buddhist topic. In these classes, we can learn and practice essential meditation techniques, reduce stress, and develop lasting happiness. In so doing, we can find real inner peace within our own hearts and in this way contribute to world peace.

No previous experience necessary, everyone welcome. Donations welcome.

 

 

Marlin headshot4compressedThe first Sunday of the month, Marlin will teach the class and afterwards there will be a potluck brunch- yummy eggs and pancakes- for anyone who wants to stay and enjoy good food and conversation. Feel free to bring a dish to share.
